I hadn't made a litho in a few years and needed some advice and after getting it from Dave and Davo I applied it and then cut it and this is the result. I think it turned out pretty good.

Lithophanes are one of my favourite CNC creations. Nice one, Jack.

Brian,
I've never sold one either...all the ones i've done were either for family or because i was trying to do something nice for someone. In that instance the time you put into it is of no consequence but if you wanted to make a profit you'd have to charge at least $300.00 or more.

I've had a lot of luck selling them, $300 is not realistic though, can't see how you'd need to get that much but to each their own.

I sell mine for anywhere from $75 to friends to $150 for non friends ... Doubt if I have $15 in parts, machine does most of the work so its mostly labor. Setting the machine to cut, making the box and installing the lights I maybe have 1.5 hours of my time invested if that, so $100 I feel is worth while. I sell alot to carpenters [since I'm a union carpenter] some guys want to make their own boxes so I sell even cheaper, I just have to cut the litho and supply the electronics.
