One of my first projects was to make a corner rounding jig out of hardboard. I do thing a clone of the one pictured would be nice out of HDPE or blatic birch.

Mark they want $300.00 for a boxed set made of alloy! Like your masonite idea - certainly reduces costs and beat drawing corners using a penny!

Bob, here are a couple to get you started, easy to make in any size with Vcarve. After they are made just clamp them to your work and use a trim bit.
I do like the idea of replicating the woodpeckers though, no more clamping!
