We have used the Pop Up Tents for years and never had a Problem untill now. although our anchor's held, the tornatic winds totaly destroyed our tents. They twisted up like rag dolls. There were over 30 other tents destroyed. The tents that held up were either lowered down and had no sides, or were of the product line of trimline. We are going to shift over to the Trimlines. you can order them from Flourish Canopies and Display Walls (http://www.flourish.com./) or call them at 800-296-0049

10 Years ago did an outdoor show, which we usually don't do, in November. Was our first year with this show, so we had to take outdoor if we wanted to do the show. Cold, windy day. 8AM in morning, vendors setting up outside, most tents were up, an hour away from show start, wind was steady, and then suddenly gusting, and tents were flying 10 to 30 feet in the air. Within half an hour, most tents were down, and outdoor vendors were packing up and leaving! We stuck it out, didn't put a tent up, and sold out in a few hours :) so we left happy. The next year, the show didn't do outdoor spaces, and didn't bring them back till last year. A lot of the flying tents had weights to hold them down, but the ropes broke or weight wasn't enough and they lifted with the tents.

We usually use the trailer for that very reason, the put together pipe ones do hold up well that they have on that site, see a lot of them at our shows.
We have a higher end popup when the trailer can not be used, I have angle iron stakes and ratchet straps to secure it has held up to some rough weather they got to be tight, once they start to twist your done. Some shows you see people grabbing onto the supports like its the first time they realized wind existed. Last thing I want is my tent crashing into someone else.
I had a couple of tents set up for my daughters high school graduation in June. I was out mowing and noticed that the tents were air born and spinning around. A dust devil had picked them up and tossed them like dust bunnies. Broke one, but the other survived.
I saw the dust devil drop the tents and move away. It was about 30' across and went up as far as I could see. Only about 100' away from where I was mowing.

Glad you posted that site, I've been mentally designing a stand for displaying some items for a show in November, and their freestanding mesh walls look to be perfect. Cost a bit more then building something myself, but the lighter weight and easier transport will be well worth the extra cost.
