The question is about modifications to the Buddy to get a more flat table or more control of the table's edges away from the Power Stick extrusion.

First to add some additional guide rollers to the outer edges of the table.

Here is the open framed Power Stick table frame using the side rollers to gain some support more rigid than the plywood laying on rollers.
The table frame is made of extrusions, bolted together using the same hardware as the Buddy has now, just slightly added on.

This just shows the side with the new roller guides engaging the knife edge guide at the edges of the table.

One reason to consider this modification is to gain a dovetailing capacity from the Buddy.

Pony clamp model was handy and saved having to draw a vise, but all-thread of any other grip on the end of the box/drawer sides would work as well.

look at the back side with the bundle of board ends presented for routing.
If anyone has already done this I'd sure like to look at their mod's, if not is there any reason why this won't work?
I've asked S'Bot to comment but I figured the Forum would have some feedback as well?

all observations and responses appreciated.

cheers,
Kevin Morin

Two slave powersticks was something I had thought about, one on each side. I would capture the outer guides on your design like the current ps setup but with no steppers.
