Need help to upgrade hold down

I need to upgrade my black box to a regen blower. I have a 6 zone 4 X 8 top. I hold what I need to now with the 4 lighthouse motors now. I get -7 hg now with all 4 motors. I do not have 3 phase. Would a 10 hp blower get the same hold. Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated.

Yes. The 10hp single phase is a nice pump. You'll have to call SB for the exact numbers, but I think you will pull somewhere in the 12-14 Hg" range. CFM will be about half of what you have, which really isn't an issue.

Is it possible to buy and set a regen blower for under 2k?

If you are willing to buy used it is possible, but it is slim pickins for single phase units.

The entire idea behind the open source vacuum, and the Hurricane, is to use them to make money...and then, buy a real production-duty pump.
