Hi Everyone. I hope any botters or folks in the flooded areas of the USA are as dry or good as they possibly can be. Looked awful on the news.
My post today is simply looking for feedback on control software versions. I have been running 3.6.46 til now and have had few issues in the past. I am now getting troubles with the keyboard not stopping the software and the odd axis just continuing on after I have released the key (in keyboard mode) so I am debating whether to upgrade to newer version or to just stay with current 3.6.46 I am using. It is not the keyboard causing the issue as I have replaced it few times and have still had the issue. It used to be just every now and then and no biggie but seems to be more and more lately. Anyhow hope all are dry and well and look forward to feedback on versions and opinions.

Checked out your website

Top notch products!

I'd love to learn the painting technique for your signs

If I remember the keyboard issue was a refresh rate issue?

I'm sure Brady will answer with a solution

Glen,
Chances are if SB3 was running fine, then all of a sudden became unresponsive via keyboard (and you have tried other KBs as well), then something else is going on. Is the computer online? I would investigate what is running in the background and make sure that it is not causing resources to be taken from running SB3.

Have you loaded any new software on the machine recently (since this started happening) ? Are you using a wired or wireless keyboard? Are you having problems with COM/disconnects or just keypad locking up on you?

If my memory serves me correctly, I think I had this problem at one point and it turned out that my USB hardware was getting flaky. A PCI to USB expansion card fixed this. SB setup to run off of the card, everything else USB on the MoBo.
