Okay so I procrastinated a bit on this one... My youngest brother (18) is graduating from boot camp today on Parris Island. He is now a Marine. He is coming home tomorrow and I want to have a gift ready for him. I have the USMC emblem ready to v-carve but if anyone happens to have a 3d model of it that they could share with me in the next hour or so I would be forever grateful. I promise its not for any production or sale.

Thanks Brady, I know there are tons of sites I can buy one from, problem is even the moths have left my wallet! I just figured if someone had one they where willing to let me use having the emblem in 3d would definitely give it a little something extra. Not a huge deal it looks good v-carved but I just figured I would ask.
Here is what I have so far... needs a little tweaking still.26347

I sent you a link in a PM for some emblems on ebay. Maybe you could just insert one in a plaque. Check it out and take a look.

I do not mind helping people but I've had people ask me for 3-D models that I've paid for and it turns me off a little bit it's free to them and they can use it at my expense unlimited times and make money off ME

In fact I purchased a gold bundle which was pricey so giving anything out of that to another person feels like I lost $1000

Yeah...I have to agree. The models are SO CHEAP that if you can't ante up $15-25, then you might want to consider tracing a 2D picture and v-carving instead. We've all got moths in the wallet these days.

Few get that real people sculpt these files to make their living, with the idea that people will do the right thing and chip in a few bucks for a file.

I normally would mind paying for it, I understand someone else had to make. I waited till the last minute(my own fault) and can't buy anything right now(my wife's fault but don't tell her said that!). I have some left over wood and just figured if I asked and someone said yea I could make the gift that much better

I read that you are broke, but here in my opinion is the best source for military emblems for future reference
