View Full Version : Creating a live edge in Aspire- can't find the thread

I have a bit of time in the fall/winter so I thought I would prepare some
samples of the bark and wood grains in the clipart collection. Some one
posted a 'kinda' how to put a live edge on an existing board. I have been
attempting it with some success but would like to look at the thread now.
I know I bookmarked it but like everything else... I can't find it. Anyone
know of what I speak? Thanks Gene

You are too kind (if a little bit snarky)- it is actually this shopbottalk thread I was looking for. And I spent quite a bit of time looking and googling. This is how far I have progressed- I wanted to see how he (Mezalick) did it to tune up my procedure.

Did you get the info you were looking for? Or need help looking? (seriously)

Gene,
Here's the link to the Vectric forum topic about my live edge.

Let me know if you need more info.

I did Brady- I am on a lot of boards and this one is the most civil. I understand that knowledgeable people get tired of us ankle-biters asking the same questions over and over- I have the
same reaction in some situations where I have a certain amount of knowledge. I wondered after I posted the 'snarky' comment if I had gone too far but hoped it would be taken as humor.
I have learned a lot from you and all of the fine people on this board since I bought my first 32" Buddy three years ago and look forward to much more knowledge. Thanks Gene

Gene,
No worries. I am not thin skinned. I don't take offense easily.

The world doesn't need any more of the victim mentality.

However, I do break a friend's stones once in a while... ;) - I'm glad you're a good sport.
