I had one, that is actually how I got started in CNC almost 4 years ago.

Didn't get very far with it, was finicky and erratic, ended up selling it at a loss on ebay. To be fair, didn't put much effort into it either.

The eggbot is based on a design by Bruce Shapiro, who does amazing art installations using motion control systems. His website is called The Art of Motion Control.

Yes that's true, but not half as much fun!! That eggbot has been around for years and years. I remember seeing it when i had my Sears router-crafter!
