This chap has a clever gate on his home built dust shroud and I could see uses for his retracting location pins.

He has a lot of other interesting stuff like an oscillating mechanism for sanding and a power feeder and a length stop for a drop saw.

That is nice, I use them a lot for hold downs.

Joe

Thanks for the link Joe. I can see myself spending a few grand there over the coming years. I think Brian might be in the same boat. I can see his dust gates working on one of the many geared motors!

Bob, Back when I had a real job I made gates with pneumatic cylinders that opened when a machine was turned on. In my shop its not needed but could be cool just to do.

Working on 200 feet of moulding for a church this week. clamped to the table with pneumatics.

JoeI have ordered RC stuff from Banggood before. In general you will be OK. Do not expect customer service. Do not expect quantifiable shipping or delivery dates. Do not expect making a return. It's just the chance you take when ordering from a monster sized warehouse in China. Just keep your expectations in check and pony up for the extra shipping cost to ensure traceability (choose DHL if available, very good overseas delivery from them).
