Nice job, working on some shades myself, first prototype has some issues with roundover bit. Lenses are chalkboard material, total glasses around 3 feet across.

You can buy prescription glasses with lenses from Zenni optical (and others like it) for less then $10. I usually get several pair at a time. No spam here but just want to point that out for any who pay full rip-off price for prescription glasses. There's a huge, and I mean HUGE markup in that sector. It's like hearing aids. They cost about $100 to the dealer and they sell them to the sucker, err, patient for $7,000. Another rip-off.

Daniel that looks good. This is part of a sign and i'm not sure but it is going to have clear plastic, a nose, eyebrows made from foam. I'm sure that's the next thing i'll have to cut.

of course but there is a difference in lens quality and the coatings I have noticed on these no starches at all. my frames are titanium super light with cool these spring hooks that go around my ears so comfortable. don't bend if you get whacked in the face. I never would have bought them cash 1500 but the trade was worth it. I think the sign was only about 350

So I'm just wondering if they are going to give you options on the nose. How are you going to pick the nose?

Interested in seeing the final project when your finished with it. Mine is designed to just hang on the wall, so I didn't make the temple sections. Are your temples going to be folded along the back or in an open position?

supposed to be open and think of a groucho marx type thing where you see nose, glasses, eyebrows, ect. I still don't know the who scope of things because what happens is, they decide, they'll do this part and this part and then find out they can't then call me. So we'll see...

No that was a 3d file i was "watching" on ebay. I never bought it, it is only 10 bucks here is the link:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/151673805321?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
it said it is sold but it is a digital file so the seller will probably relist it. You could contact him direct and see about it for more info. Hope that helps
