I'm having an issue with a popup notification every few minutes that jumps up. It is the renewal notification for my McAffee virus protection which i did not renew but continues every few minutes to popup.

I went in to msconfig and unchecked all instances of mcaffee from the startup menu but it continues. Do i need to uninstall McAffee to get that to stop or what do i need to open to find the thing that controls this notification.
My browser controls regular popups so this is not that...

Uninstall it and go with commodo or another good free one

Commodo is the best I've tested so far, has been the most sensitive with its database and found some "trainers" I have that the rest overlooked

However there are some options you gotta turn off in its settings so it doesn't throw pop ups at you for upgrading

Are you by any chance talking about your control computer?

If so you should not try to be on the network (Home or other) while your Bot is running first thing I do when starting up my controller puter is turn off my network connection and then set my security protection level to off till the next reboot.

No this is not the control computer, i have never hooked it to the net or used it for anything other then running the bot. There is no virus protection even on the computer i'm aware of.
This is on my design computer in the house. The one connected to the net.

That's what i'm trying to kill now so i don't want to install anything that is going to do the same thing. I'll try uninstalling the pgm first.
