I am laying out a sign and I have 2- 3d files in it. one in material setup the model position in material I want flush with the top and the other model I want it to be .3 under or below the top or surface. Now how do I do this? It seems that i can only make one setting in the setup mode.
Thanks for your help.

Not sure what pgm you're using but one suggestion i'd make is this. Lets say your sign is square.
Make a vector outline of your project.
place 3d file #1 in it's place and create your file
save it
make your toolpaths
make another copy of that file and place 3d file #2 in it's place within the vector box
set your depth to what you want.
create a vector outline of that file
delete all the other parts from copy1 and save it
create toolpaths

So what you are doing is making 2 copies of your project but only saving the toolpath for the 2nd 3d object.
That allows you to cut both files at different depths....
