Great idea! I hadn't thought of doing that. I wonder if it would be possible to do that with a brazing torch to get a brass type look?

I often use powder copper, aluminum etc with super glue and a bit of sanding, magic! NO burning down the workshop!

Eutectic solder melts at 361°F while brass at about 1700°F
At our ShopBot users group meeting in Austin, Wayne Locke showed a method he recently incorporated into a project using powdered metals and super glue. Really neat!
