Z Axis beyond software table limits

I'm getting this error message. I don't think I've changed anything. I've gone through the tutorial on setting the X,Y and Z limits but I still get this error. Most of the time I just click ok and it doesn't seem to be a problem, I just would like to know why I get the message and what to do about it

This error is usually a result of a material thickness plus safe Z that exceeds the amount that the Z can physically travel. Any chance you put in a long bit and/or thick material?

No. Most of my work is done with a 3/8" compresseion bit, CEL 1 1/4", on 3/4" material.

I get the error even when I first wake the machine up and tell it to go to 0,0.
