video capture programs?

I have some old vhs wood turning videos we made years ago and i have a dazzle video capture device but the older version of pinnacle that i got with it doesn't even install from the cd in windows 10. Does anyone know of a free program to capture vhs video and turn it into digital that would work on windows 10?

I alrerady tried the NCH program and it wouldn't recognize the USB port for input of raw video. I'll check this version to see if it is any different. thanks
