Desktop Spindle speed changing on it's own

Has anyone ever had this problem? Any remedies?

I've seen the pot dial on the VFD change setting due to vibration from the spindle cutting though the material and resonating through the gantry to the VFD. Watch it during a heavier cut and see if that is what is happening. If so, I'd see about dampening the vibration where the VFD is mounted on the gantry and also see if there would be a way to add some friction to the pot dial with an o-ring and a felt washer or something similar.

Not here Kevin, BUT the first few times I checked all my bolts for tightness, the VFD always had 1-2 bolts that had loosened, and I can see that aggravating vibration----Maybe check?
Loctite blue solved that.
