Camp ShopBots Fall 2016 sneak peak

Hi all,

We're planning some fun Camp ShopBots for Fall 2016. A *sneak peak* at locations already confirmed include the annual Michigan Camp now in its 6th year (and this year at TechShop Detroit), a DC/Arlington-area Camp, a Pittsburgh Camp and more to come.

Check back in June for updates and Camp registration links. We'll also have some hands-on trainings accompanying these Saturday Camps. So stay tuned for more details.

And check our events calendar for additional trainings and workshops, camps, trade shows, etc. where ShopBot will be. And if you haven't heard yet, there is an educators training in mid-July at headquarters, a 'teach the teachers' style training.

What ever happened to the Minnesota Camp, or the Wisconsin Camp?

Thanks for your question about a MN or WI Camp. There are so many places and not enough of us (at ShopBot) to go around!

Because we can't get to every location each year, we want to really encourage users to think about hosting User Group meetups. They don't need to be huge events: Just simple get-togethers where information and techniques can be shared. We can help you with some promotion if you need a hand getting started, and can offer some tips on scouting a location, getting additional presenters besides yourself, and making it an informative and fun event.
