My immediate question...because it is rigid you will always need whatever depth of cut you have, in extra length of bit to stick past the bottom of the dust chute...how do you set that up before cutting?

Maybe you didn't see it, but @~7:30ish in the video, he does discuss a small magnetic ring mount for a brush guard, but he has gotten that far yet.

Prototypes-we've all been there.

The design is interesting. It appears to be fairly easy to build and it looks effective. I agree that some sort of brush is desirable. I posted it to see what others might have to offer.

Nice looking enclosure, would be great for on demand cuttings at shows to not upset booth neighbors!
