Has any one ever used Dry Molly Lube or any other type of graphite spray for lubrication rather than grease? Do you know if it is okay to use this stuff?
Thanks

you mean on the rack and pinions? I think it is best to use grease this isa high stress low rpm situation.

A couple of threads that might help...specifically "shluckification" :)

I never clean it off the old gets squashed out and fall off on the floor (G) my racks lasted as long as my spindle did.

I exclusively use high quality motorcycle chain grease and have for years. Transparent, non messy easy spray on and seems to have a long life of lubrication. I also use it on the plastic to metal gears in my Inca plainer.
