I had my 2007 controller box serviced over christmas. and with the great customer service, i finally got my shopbot to work.
i went to cut my first project and the output was upside down. facing the shopbot, i normally position the 0X and 0Y on the right corner. see photo.
tech support suggested switching the X & Y channels. but this did not work.
any suggestions
thanks

Are you saying that the sign cut in the orientation that is shown in the picture? (once I turned it right side up)
When you open the Keypad ("K") and press the right arrow, which way does the machine travel?
Same question for the Up arrow?

i wish i was from australia and i will not have a problem with my upside down machine.
now for the duh moment! gary your question as to which way the gantry moves when i press the right or up arrow, made me think that the manual gantry movement should correspond with the arrows. duh! so i had to try it and the left and right arrow move the x and up and down move the y.
just to be sure, i have a 48x96 bed and the 96 is the x axis and 48 is the y axis. or do i have it backward?
so for 10 years have my settings been wrong?

Yes, the 96 is considered the x axis and the 48 is considered the y axis.
