Ty,
Post the .ART or click on my name and e-mail it to me. FYI - Shopbot now sells the PW training video here (http://www.shopbottools.com/sbsoftware.htm)

Hi Adam!

First, ungroup your vectors. Then select two of 'em at a time and join 'em (right click/join)... then repeat until all connected. Unfortunnatly, PW does'nt join multiple vectors at once... grouping does join (or weld if you prefer) vectors... grouping help to manage 'em when, say, there are many...

Hope this help.

Adam,
Don't feel bad...the fact that they have the join tools very close to the grouping tools suggests to a new user that merely grouping the vectors will satisfy the need for CNC operations...As Paco points out, you need to individually join each section one at a time.

The attached file has been joined for you.

Would the vectors in this type of drawing also have to be manually joined, a pair at a time? (289 vectors/steps?)

Well, with PW I believe the answer is yes... unfortunatly...

Gerald's drawing imported fine for me in version 2 with the "rejoining tolerance" in the import dialog box set to .01 mm ...didn't require any extra steps

Remember when you said you would challenge anyone to do anything faster on AutoCad than on PW

SheetCam also handled this one fine, even after I "broke" some connections on purpose.

(Careful Mike, I don't think that ACad's "boundary" works on this one - it might be the one with the bad connections)
