What are you cutting that you need one for?

Not that one, but the design looks good.
I have used this one and can vouch for it's appropriate "pressure".

no need for one for that just use a straight 2f bit. if you use a 1/16" bit on the 1/8" and a 1/18" on the thicker you should have no issues. I can cut really small parts out with just a vacuum holddown. I use a climb cut as that leaves the shavings to stick on the scrap.

Hi Knight
where did you purchase the 1/16 bits from?

paul60: I like the ball bearings used in those examples. Just cut over 30 sheets of paper backed veneer with the Donek drag knife. Still on lighhouse motor vac system, and had issues with edge trying to lift, as veneer bled just enough vac to be a problem. Ended up using masking tape around perimeter to keep it down, which took its toll on the time involved. This would have been a lot nicer, especially at that price!
Thanks for bringing this up - next batch like this and I'll gladly drop the coin to control things with a pressure foot.

Jeff how small are your parts? I can cut some pretty small parts with a 1/16" downcut. I just cut a bunch of parts that are 1.5"x.375 out of 1/8" Baltic at 2ips with a 1/16" down cut I have cut laminate and such with it too it does a great job and parts tend to stay in place. just cut a bunch of luan 1/8" plywood at 3ips with that same bit

ok I am cutting these small parts with a 1/16" 2f downcut but at 2ips and 16k rpm in a single pass out of 1/8" baltic. I used vacuum but I often cut smaller parts by nailing the sheet down.

I don't cut that many very small parts. Smallest I cut is about 1.5x 1.5. Most of my cutting a much larger.
All the cutting I have been doing is in pvc.
The only 1/8 bits I have is up spiral and that do not work
Just placed and order for some 1/8 straight bits
Also placed an order for the pressure plate from ChinaWill see how that works.
Thanks again to all
