I have a prs alpha 8 x 4
I bought it second hand a while ago. I was running it occasionally
I got sick of the flexible plastic strip that supports the wires. so I fitted energy chain.
now I have created a problem
when I use the key pad on the keyboard and press the down button the gantry moves towards me but when I stop pressing it the gantry continues to move and will crash if I don't hit the emergency stop.
can anyone help me work out what I have done
thanks alan

It sounds like you have fixed distance set on your keypad

I think that you set it for each axis

To start with, what version of SB3 are you running? A test of how good your USB connection should be done.

I was thinking that . it doesn't seem to be sticking but I couldn't replicate the problem today

i didn't experience the same problem today so I'm not sure whats going on. everything worked as normal. i didn't try running anything yet but it worked manually
also i realised i was wrong in the buttons. it is left and right i meant . not up and down
