A long time ago I thought I saw where you could adjust the cutting speed, up or down, while the file was active. Does anyone remember this and what would be the key strokes for such adjustments? Thanks for any help.

Shift and < or >.

Keep in mind that this doesn't apply the proper ramping to the new speed. If you increase by a large amount, the ramping can get a bit harsh. A pause with insert command and then MS and set the new speed will also adjust the ramps. Pausing and returning can in itself be risky depending on which version you are running. If it's a temporary change for testing a faster feed, it's fine to do the shift <>, but otherwise it's better to edit the MS value in the file.

Try to replace your switch brackets (https://www.icrfq.com/part/3991789-V_15G6_1C25_K.html) on your machine, I'm not sure if you replace your switch. But I have had to change my switch when I get decreasing my cutting speed.
