Unable to edit post

I started a new thread yesterday and wanted to add/edit, there is no icon to edit on the page/post? I posted in the past and was able to edit so what gives? Thanks for your help!

You have a few minutes, maybe 15, for a spell or accuracy check, but after that no edits allowed.

Wanted to post pictures and correct spelling. I guess I have to get it right the first time..
