Question for anybody still using the Part Wizard program. I wrote a program for a 3/4" x 3/4" radius-ed drop edge for a round counter top. I first drew a circle the same diameter as the top followed by a second circle 3/4" less in radius. I then bisected the circles vertically and horizontally and erased 3/4 of the drawing to leave a 3/4 x 3/4 drop edge 1/4 the circumference of the round top.My problem is the tool path for this piece ends up being done in 4 separate cuts rather than just one cut all the way around the piece in one pass. Also the 4 cuts are done in different directions. How can I fix this to cut this piece out in one continuous cut?

Its been ages since I used it, but did you join the lines after trimming? Select the lines holding shift right click for join option if my memory is correct.

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I still can't seem to perform this operation. I have tried using the shift key and also combined with the control key with no success. When I go around the object, highlighting each separate line, it changes the lines color but does not contain start and stop nodes. When the machining is programmed, it still gives me 4 separate cuts.

I've found there is only so much the automated program tools can do. If you want something specific and can't get the program to create the exact right toolpath, just edit the toolpath file yourself. It's really pretty simple and as long as you are careful and understand what you are doing, is safe and effective. I've edited dozens of toolpath files to produce some exact result. It's far easier to just do this than bang your head trying to coax the program into doing it for you.
