Troubleshooting SB problems

I ran the USB Speed test, CONNECTED TO SHOPBOT" and received a transmission efficiency value of 74% - no problem. Next I ran the LOOPBACK with Connector in place - message said "No Response".
What should I check?

For a V4G control board there are two possible controller cards - the controller card is the small board that attaches to the larger V4G board in your box. If the smaller card has lights on it then it is one of the v2xx controllers and would be fine to run on the most current version - 3.8.48 - but can also be run on the earlier 3.6.46
If the smaller card does not have lights on it the the connection type likely is a serial-usb and you would need to run version 3.6.46.
After getting the right version installed you'll want to run the firmware installer to test and establish a connection before switching into move/cut mode.
