Offset go the opposite direction

I recently replace my computer. After setting up the software and running the first file that used an offset I noticed that the offset is moving the wrong direction. The x axis is supposed to move in the negative direction but it moves in the positive direction. I checked the my variables file and it says 6" on the x and 0 on the y. I change it to negative 6 on the x and 1 on the y. It does the same thing. Its not responding to the change in the variables file.
