Is there a way to reduce flex or tighten the Z axis? I'm not sure if something is loose of if something is flexing, but I have a PRS Alpha, and when the spindle is lowered I can push on it and fairly easily move it sideways about 1/16". I'm getting some strange results with my toolpaths and I think this may be causing them.

Is it "flexing" or is something loose? Can you feel a clunking as you move it back and forth?

No clunking, but I do need to take a closer look tommorrow.

Nat..
There should be an adjustment procedure the the Z, but I havnt found any documentation. I caught a small amount of play in my dual Z before installation, then did a total disassembly. I did find a few parts that were looser than I liked. The nut that adjusts the tension on the rollers requires a thin 9/16 (I think) wrench. I had a cheap stamped wrench from a router or sander on hand and was able to make my adjustments. You may have to call Tech Supt on this one.
