Would anyone know how much clamping pressure is enough when joining a Corian seam together without squeezing all the adhesive out? The Corian fabrication manual specifically says to not over clamp or adhesive would all squeeze out. So what is tight enough? Would there not be a glue line if not tight enough? Thanks.

When I glue edges on, 2 inch spring clamps provide enough pressure to do the job.
So its not like you have to bear down on the clamps. I used to hot melt blocks on either side of the seam and clamp to them.
You would probably break the blocks loose if you clamped too tight. There really is no way to give you a definite measurement.
As long as the seam closes, snug should be good enough. The added 4 or 5 inch piece across the seam will strengthen the joint.
Hope this helps.

What kind of glue are others using for Corian, so far I have used cyanoacrylate.
