My house has many arch top windows… here in Texas, the windows are aluminum frames, and the openings are just sheet rocked. The archtop openings are very poorly done, with lumps and bumps and are anything but smooth! I decided to stop grousing and fix them!
My ShopBot is really good at making custom moldings! Some of these are just a profile bit on a vector while others are “extruded” in V-carve. Friends and family are impressed, and I’m pleased with the results too! I’m not done with the base boards yet as I’m still deciding if I’m doing just the entry area or the whole house!
