It appears that I've got something going on with this board.

When I run the C8 program I can hear the relay click and LED #4 and #5 come on, there is a short pause and then #5 goes out with the click of the relay and then #4 goes out (no relay sound) shortly after that.

I've got a meter probe on the output (I'm holding the ground probe to the Gnd pin when I run the C8 command) and there is no voltage appearing.

Any suggestions as to what I could check? Is the relay soldered in or is it a plug-in?

thanks!

Hi Gene,
The Air Drill will not trigger if it does not get the voltage to tell it to do so. From the picture you posted it looks like you have the wires from the drill in the correct place but there also needs a wire run from the 24v line to the other side of the green terminal block in the same spot your voltage meter probe is. There is a 24V spot on the blue terminal blocks right on the board. Give us a call and we can walk you through what needs to be done.

Thanks Scott. Is the +24V tap clearly marked on the board? (I can't go look myself right now)

Does the +24V input from the blue terminal block go into the "empty" contact on the green block, or should it be placed into the same post that the +24V for the drill solenoid is installed?

tnx!

Hi Gene,
The 24v is labled on the block and the wire should go into the empty one. The relay is just a switch that turns on and off.
