Past threads

I have been gone for quite a while and as usual, forgotten a few things. I would like to find past threads I have asked and had answered. I know it can be done but how do I find the old threads? They are old, does that make a difference?

Click on your user name and choose 'View Forum Posts', or click on advanced search in the upper right and do a search for all post with your user name.
