Hello All,
After reformatting the hard drive, and re-installing the software, and not using the router and the computer for few months. The e-stop button behaves weird. If I press the e-stop the router works fine, BUT if I release the e-stop the router stops, and light #4 start flashing !!!!!

Any one could tell me how to solve this annoying problem ?
Thanks in advance,
Marwan

Older machine like mine I assume. Best bet is to pop open the e-stop box and re-wire it to the NC (normally closed) contact. The other choice is to tell the ShopBot software that you have the e-stop wired the old way (normally open). It’s under VN in the program.

You can change the setting in your shopbot values. to NC or NO depending on what one you have.

Thanks. I Changed the software and it worked. What I've done wrong is during installation I should have selected prt....OLD_STOP

Only reason I said "best bet is": It's a safety thing. That way if the e-stop wire gets cut the machine doesn't run. That's why they changed it in the new machines. That being said, my machine is still wired the old way.
Lazy I guess.
