Helical drilling

I have thousands of holes to drill into 3/4" MDF. What is the fastest, most efficient method to do this? I am using a spindle with a 1/4" bit and cutting 5/16" diameter holes 3/4" deep. I was thinking helical drilling and boring down 3/4" in one pass but not sure how to do that. Any suggestions?

What are you using for software? With Vectric products, using a 1/4" upcut, use Profile toolpath with profile inside, conventional direction, and a spiral ramp (controlled by pass depth for the tool). Set both feed rate and plunge to the same value.
