Sb3.4.25

I down loaded the latest ver sb3.4.25,,it worked fine on the house comp. ,,,now I am trying to put it on the comp. that is hooked up to the shop bot,,Both r new comp..I down loaded file sb 3.4.25 on cd took it to sb comp, up loaded it & it still says ver 3.4.16,,really weird,,How do I down load off of the 1st comp. so it does right.. You need a copy of the installer (the file you downlaod from SB WWW site) on Both computer... this can be done from a CD I believe (on the 2nd PC).

You cannot just copy the installed files from the 1st PC on the 2nd; you must install the program on both...

or am I missing something?!

paco u sound right on ur thinking,,where do I find the installer at???I tried sb3.4.25 set up,when I tried to put it on 2nd pc it kept saying on line sevice was not available...Thanks Bryan

Hey Bryan,

You don't need a seperate installer...the program that you downloaded is all you need. Could your computer have possibly created a shortcut to the Setup_sb3_4_25_PRT.exe program on the CD instead of copying the setup program itself? Try comparing the size of the one on the CD and the one that you downloaded on the first computer and see if they are the same size.

How about just running the installer (the file/program that you download and copy to a CD) from the CD drive of the computer on which you wish to have SB3 installed?

The check that Bill is suggestinig is relevant; some time #@?! happen when burning file on CDs...

Could yo normally read and install program from this CD drive?... I remember that old CD drive that wouldn't read burned file from a more recent CD burner...

It looks like that is what happened,,home comp had sb 75.86 mb&9.8 mb on the setup3.4.25 the disk had 633bytes on setup sb3.4.25 &655 on sb..It is working good on the 2nd comp but it is only @ 36mb on sb instead of 75.86 that the first one is @..The setup 3.4.25 on 2 comp is @ 9.87 mb which is good but sb program has lost somthing somwhere but dont what @ this time... Thank bill

ya paco I think I could read programs before ,,The 2 comp is 1yr &1.5yr old,so that should be ok,,Its working but 75mb on #1 comp& 36mb on #2 comp...
