I wanted to share a project I’ve been working on that might be useful for some here.
It’s called VersaPod. It’s a vacuum pod system designed to work with a wide range of CNC routers.
VersaPod works as a drop-in system for flat-bed / nested-based machines. It uses a small, low-CFM pump, provides pod-style work-holding without modification to the machine, and allows edge access for profiling or through-cuts. The pods can be placed wherever support is needed, so setup is flexible.
We’ve just launched the system on Kickstarter if you’d like to take a look:

For those who already have a vacuum table, we’ve also put together a drop-in retrofit solution.
I know many here have their own approaches to work-holding, but I thought it might be helpful to let the community know this option exists. Happy to answer any questions.
