Settings for an older PR

I have a PR 96 running shopbot version 2.38 on windows 98. The Z axis HAS A THREADED ROD. Does anyone know the correct VALUES for this? We have tried 2000 but it only seems to run 1/3 (up and down, consistently) of what you tell it to. All bearings are tight, no slipage, no binding, just a constant 1/3 of what you tell it. Also the X and Y values would be helpful too. HELP!

Dan, It sounds like you need to set the unit values. I looked but cant find my original unit values for my PR. I have sense uprgaded it to a PRT controll system. Frank at ShopBot can help you find the correct values for your machine.

As for running files any SBP file will run fine on your machine.

Thanks Bill. I have tried moving the values, but when it goes the right distance on one direction, then the other direction is not accurate. Your right, I will contact them today. Thanks again, Dan
