Problem with Alpha software.
I am new to the forum, but I have been running a CNC machine since the PR days and now running an alpha 144.
I received my CNC machine in January and with it came the software version 3.3.5. I used it and everything worked great, I made up a lot of jigs that sit on my table. I decided to upgrade to the latest version, 3.4.1, I started having problems with certain things lining up. I thought it was me because at one point I crashed my machine and had to re align a couple of things. Since then I have been having all kinds of problems with certain things lining up. I finally did a little test with my tape measure, never thinking that it would be the software, and within 8 feet of the X direction it was off by about 30 thousandths. I went back to the old version, the 3.3.5, and everything lined up perfect again. Somewhere there is a difference between the two software versions. All the unit values where straight from the factory. Has anyone else noticed a problem with their different versions of software?
