Help? PRT style control box, non-4g. Has been shut off for a week or so, turned it on today, nothing. When I turn on the switch, the orange led in the switch lights up, the green led lights up for a second, then green led goes off, orange led in switch stays on. Steppers not powering up. Depending on how soon I try to turn it on again, sometimes the green led doesn't light up at all, just the orange led in the switch. Any ideas?

I don't know. Does your computer find the shopbot?

Possibly the PC power supply in the control box. If you have an old pc around with a similar powersupply with same style electrical connectors, it would be easy to test by switching in a different PS. The PC power supplies put out a couple different voltages and it's possible one side of the PS has failed.

Hopefully that's it, as pretty cheap part to replace.

Problem solved. It was the 5v/12v power supply that was bad. I kept my old PR control box, so I took the power supply from it, same specs. Being a pack rat has it's advantages.
Thanks for your inputs.............
