Digitized tool path

I'm new here so be gentle. I'm considering the purchase of a Shopbot but here is my question. If after you use the digitizing probe to make your tool path can you look at the 3d image and change the 3d image or program? Will Rhino 3d make this easier?

Abe. No - Not unless you have software to do it. Rhino can be used to a certain degree, but you really need a points to surface plug-in for it to get what you need. I use ArtCAM to convert SB probe data to an editable format and to edit the data itself. It isn't affordable for everyone, but it is the best.

Thanks for your input. When you say not affordable for everyone what version and what is the cost?

It's about $7500 per seat for the latest version...In my opinion, it is worth every penny.
