Is there a way to resize a piece using Partworks? For example, I have a chair back that is sized for a small child that I would like to resize to accommodate an older child.

you can resize any 2d drawing. just select it and choose scale selected vectors. it is the box in the box with an arrow in the corner. you may or may not want have both x and y locked.

I figured it could be done, just couldn't figure out how.

Just curious, what effect does locking x & y or not have?

Thanks Steve.

if they are locked both are resized in proportion.
a lot of times when you import a dfx file it will be the wrong size. so you would select all and leave the two locked and size the x or the y and both would be accurate. or you change the size of the material and you want your work to fit you would leave them locked and change one of them to the size you want.

but say I have a box I want longer then I would unlock the x and y and just change one.
