Trouble with open vectors

I've designed a part which is just basically an irregular pocket to clear. On the drawing side of partworks it says there are no open vectors but when I go to tool path and select the vectors and try toolpathing, I get open vectors. Any idea where I'm going wrong?

OK, I did have a couple of open vectors. Closed them finally and made a tool path. I just don't know why the drawing side of Partworks said I had no open vectors when I really did.
