Carving comes out higher

For some reason my carving comes out 1/4 inch higher on the real thing than on the screen. Am I setting something up wrong? It is not a problem, but is is consistent on all of the signs I am cutting.

I am using .250 as my safe height in the cutting path screen.

BTW what freedom! I am used to generating cutting paths in an engineering type program. Being able to select the item and say "Cut it" is really great.

Hi Tom,

Your sign should cut at the depth that is shown in the software. Have you cut files in any other programs that exhibit the same problem? It may be that you have the incorrect unit vales for you Z axis. If you are still having problems, give me a call or email me and I'll see if I can help.
