I've just purchased a used PRT96 and I am in the process of designing and welding a new X & Y cart to fit the existing Z axis. I've ordered an HSD 4hp spindle with control board and 4g control box as a package from Shopbot. The upgrade parts are on their way (in the next week or so), but in the meantime I would like to continue with the build. My question is does anyone have the adapter plate drawing for a PRT96 to fit the HSD 4hp spindle?
It's quite difficult to design without the whole picture. Unfortunetly for me, Shopbot tech support have gone to the show...so I'm turning to the forum for some help (I'm sure I'll be back with additional questions)
I'll be finalizing my CAD files very shortly and will post a few screen shots of my design, providing I can get the drawing of the adapter plate.
