How to create a 3d dome

Hello

I'm trying to cut a 13" diameter and 2" high dome but I cannot create it in Vector 8, my main approach is to create the file in autoCAD then save it as DXF then I decode it in Vector 8; I cannot find a way to do it and I'm really stuck any help is greatly appreciated.
