Well, I got the board weds of lst week.
It was, quite literally, a 15 minute affair to complete the upgrade. I ran into a little confusion on the input/outputs, and for now I've had to disable my emergency stop switch on input #4 (it was acting dodgy, wouldn't reset and allow me to move the gantry, no matter what mode I put it in) But other than that it was quick and painless.
Now it runs quiet, fast, and smooth... I don't have anything for the machine to do right now, so I just go back there from time to time and jog the gantry around for fun.
