I would like to start with saying that I have had a PRS Alpha for around 6 months and have been very happy. We have used it to speed up our cabinet making process and have added functionality to our shop that we did not have before especially in terms or carvings. I talked with a guy a while back and he tweaked my interest in upgrading the shopbot to use a Mach3 controller and a smooth stepper board. We have purchased the required components but are have a a few problems and wanted to see if anyone out there had gone through this and would be interested in explaining the process.
