Another Extruder question

How do you set the depth of cut using the Extruder program? Kip

Hey Kip,

The depth of cut for the Extruder is calculated when you create the 2d Profiling toolpath in Part Wizard...the extruded file that's generated is the final cut depth for your part. It's based on where you place the profile in your Part Wizard drawing, in relation to the axis that you're going to "Flip" it along. The further away from that axis it is in the Part Wizard drawing, the "taller" the extruded part and the higher the cut depth will be.

Hay bill sorry to get in the wrong topic ...But Gary Beckwith said u made a short exe file that rotated a sbp file for him ..I am using shop bot progam then vital tools then type setter ,,It is working good in the x direction ,,but now I wont to use it in the y direction with out changing my hole machine coordants..can it be done real easy ,, so I can do it often ???Thanks Bryan
